Yoga for Every Body @ Open Source Arts | England | United Kingdom

Whilst our usual Monday Yoga instructor Sophie Hutchinson is away, we are so pleased to welcome the wonderful Izzy Brittain into our space to lead the regular session.

Everyone, meet Izzy:
“I am a playful and curious yoga teacher, dance artist and performance poet. Having trained originally as a dance artist at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Trinity Laban Conservatoire, I now hold a 200 hour Hatha Yoga teaching certificate from Mathatitu Ashram in Kerala, India.

Through approaching yoga and movement as practices for health and well-being, my creatively designed classes focus on alignment, fundamentals and flow to encourage greater freedom and awareness.

Sessions build gently, developing strength and resilience in body and mind and bringing peace and presence to people in a diverse range of contexts. I am fascinated by discovering ways to re-pattern habits, reduce pain and promote healing for all.

I believe that yoga and dance offer wonderful opportunities to reconnect to our natural rhythm, have fun, get fit, improve mind-body awareness and experience deep relaxation. I look forward to sharing this with you!”

These classes are open to all, regardless of prior experience! You are warmly invited to come and find pleasure in a healthy and holistic yoga practice. Mats and blankets are available, but you are welcome to bring your own.

There is no pressure to get the postures right away – you will be encouraged to journey through the class in a safe, supportive and friendly space, at your own pace.

This is Yoga for EVERYONE!

Price: This drop-in classes will be £5 (cash on the day).
