Here’s your chance to make your very own copper bowl in a day!

You will join Bob, who will guide you over 5 hours, through every step of working in copper sheet to hammer form your own unique bowl, including how to heat metal, and how to form the metal into your desired shape and finish.

This copper beating workshop is suitable for beginners, no previous experience of metalwork is required.

There will be an hour break for lunch- bring a lunchbox.

Materials are included, and you are welcome to take the bowl home at the end of the day that you have created!

Bob Wood, now a retired teacher and blacksmith, has many years experience teaching school kids and adults traditional craftsmanship. His workshops provide attendees with the knowledge and skills they need to take steps towards mastering a new art. We are really excited that he will be with us on 15th June 2019 to deliver a copper bowl making workshop. Learn more about this beautiful traditional skill in our relaxed space.
