*Open Source Arts took the decision to close our building on Kirkstall Road on 12th March, in order to reduce social contact, and limit the spread of Coronavirus. The team are currently working from home, and we are keeping a close eye on the situation as it progresses.
We believe it is vitally important to continue to move, connect, chat, and take time to pause and breathe, and are exploring how we could continue as many as possible of our activities online. However this one has sadly been cancelled. We hope to reschedule to a later date.
We won’t be taking new bookings/hires that fall during this period. If possible – explore how existing bookings can be re-jigged to be held online. If not, then refunds will be offered to tickets already bought.*
✨ONE SACRED FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH✨
Friday March 13th
Collective act of golden manifestation, sacred laughter bath and ceremonial mess-about orchestrated by a preposterously dazzling goddess. Very golden, mostly truthful. Sacred as holy hell.
Lucy Hopkins is an award-winning clown, director, teacher, priestess, clever person and lover of humans. Recently, she has appeared in the Spencer Jones’s The Mind of Herbert Clunkerdunk (BBC) and been an associate director of Caroline Horton’s acclaimed piece of theatre All Of Me.

Lucy is the first outing of our new affordable theatre programme at Open Source Arts, in which we are bringing nationally touring and critically acclaimed shows to Open Source Arts on a Pay As You Feel basis! In doing so, we want to remove the access barrier of a high ticket cost to inspire grassroots creators and further fuel the performance scene here in Leeds.
We’re so excited for Lucy’s show. Please join us for an absolutely amazing piece of work!
This is a Pay What You Want event – reserve a place online (for a non-refundable booking fee), and contribute what you want on the night.
