Cancelled: Why We Sing

*Open Source Arts took the decision to close our building on Kirkstall Road on 12th March, in order to reduce social contact, and limit the spread of Coronavirus. The team are currently working from home, and we are keeping a close eye on the situation as it progresses.

We believe it is vitally important to continue to move, connect, chat, and take time to pause and breathe, and are exploring how we could continue as many as possible of our activities online. However this one has sadly been cancelled.

We won’t be taking new bookings/hires that fall during this period. If possible – explore how existing bookings can be re-jigged to be held online. If not, then refunds will be offered to tickets already bought.*

This workshop is open to 8 people who like to keep journals and diaries, and are open to sharing parts of them. Together, we will create a piece of music that has a little bit of each of us in it. I will gently guide you through finding your own voice and work through emotional blockages that inhibit your most creative self. Together we will share reoccurring themes in our journals and create a piece of raw music, that reflects our cycles, patterns and conflicts.
